Been playing with the new phone this evening but I can't for the life of me get it to sync with the Sense website, which is a shame as the potential security aspects would be great. The website tells me it can't track the phone's location as the GPS is switched off (its not) and that I've locked the phone (its not that either). The site seems to attempt to load friends lists too but invariably fails.
Am I missing something or does this just flat out not work?
I managed to connect once but now I can't sign in from the phone !

Logged into the website on my pc and some of it seems to work but but not all. Dashboard, Footprints and HTC Hub seem to be working.
But for messages it says: The messages have failed to load properly. Please click "OK" to try again.
and for People it says: The people groups have failed to load. Please click "OK" to try again.
Anyone else suffering the same problems?

Has anyone else had any more luck with this today, been stuck at work myself so can't do much.
Does it work best with a googlemail account or should anything work?
I have the same problem. I have downloaded the Barcode scanner from HTCSense but can't do anything else. It tells me my phone is in the Atlantic Ocean just off Africa. My phone will not connect to the site it just hangs. It does list my phone calls.

So we can get this raised as to our devices team to investigate this with HTC directly please can you all confirm your firmware versions that you have.
As the device is new you should all be on the same version however I just need to double check before raising this for you, you can get the software version by pressing Menu - settings - about phone - software information - software number.

1.32.405.3 - updated to it last night.
Still have HTCSence problems.
Same build for me.
HTCSense tell's me phone finder is off, it isn't.
Can't update People or messages and any widgets I select on line don't get sent to the phone.

I then re-created my account through my phone (not online) and now it seems to work.
Some of the screens - especially the contacts one - still occasionally fail, but everything else seems to be syncing correctly.
I have noticed that it can be a bit slow to sync up though, I guess the Push functionality isn't up to speed quite yet.
Great phone though!

HTCSense.com only works for the Desire HD and Desire Z at the moment

I deleted my account and re-signed using my google email address, which seems to have helped a little.
My contacts are now working, messages page simply won't load and my phone and I are in the sea south of Nigeria. Hub is working however.
I'm using my ntlworld account to sign in and having checked at work I appear to be in a similar position to you. i.e. treading water off Nigeria with messages working (only showing todays though), hub working and contacts just not loading. Which is odd because it loaded last night but said I didn't have any contacts.

HTC can confirm that HTC Sense.com is currently in development for use in a near future. Specific device variants, including regional or national variations that will have access have not yet been confirmed. Once more detailed information is available on the release date and which of the devices will use this feature then a more formal announcement will be made.

On a side note, it started working a bit better when I synced the HTC hub (which wasn't enabled by default). In Accounts and Sync find HTC Sence and see if HTC Hub is checked.
