Usually for a single issue we'd try to keep everyone’s posts in one thread. That way if there's a general fix we only need to post this in one place. On this occasion I won't merge your thread with that one, though, due to the additional mobile internet issue.
As with that thread, can I ask you to confirm the other questions James posted?
- Do these issues happen with your SIM in a different phone?
- Does this happen on 2G, 3G or both?
Also, when you say it happens randomly, does this include which users it affects? If it only seems to affect certain ones, can you confirm if there is anything which links them, such as their mobile provider? Similarly, are there any users who are never affected, and do they have anything in common with the affected users?
Finally for now, whilst receipt of delayed messages may appear to have happened in various locations, do you know if you were anywhere with little or no signal around the time they were sent?
I look forward to the answers, and if in the meantime you have any other delayed messages, can you note the date and time for me so that if we need to look further we have examples to look for. If affected users are on a different network, then please note we won't be able to see SMS messages they have sent you as they were generated on their home network. They would need to check with their network that there was no issue at that end.
