HTC Wildfire - blank screen help?

My sister has had the HTC Wildfire for about 8 months. Today the screen completely went blank on it. She did not drop it or anything. The phone is still 'working' as such as the green notification light is still flashing. You just cant see anything on the screen.

Please help!

Re: HTC Wildfire - blank screen help?

Hi Jaderoberts91,

Firstly let me say that you don't need to worry as it does sound like the screen has become fault and if this is the case we can get it all sorted for you.

Basically as the phone is only 8 months old it is covered by a 2 year manufacture’s warranty which means that we can arranged for the phone to be sent away to an engineer to repair the faulty screen free of charge.

For more details on our repairs process, check out our repairs FAQ.

Re: HTC Wildfire - blank screen help?

Hi Grievezy,

Thanks for your post here.

Basically all of our handsets other than the iPhone are covered by a 24 month warranty and as such as long as you are still within this period then you will still be able to get this repaired free of charge.
