HTC Wildfire download issues

Hi, When trying to download apps the message that I do not have enough space often appears. I have a new and nearly empty memory card, is there a setting to save all downloaded apps directly to this? I have tried freeing more space on the phone but that does not seem to help.

Thanks for any advice

Re: HTC Wildfire download issues

Hi grahamr,

thanks for posting. As apps become more and more advanced, the more mature models can quickly run out of onboard memory to save and run them. As of the Android 2.2 update, you should be able to move apps over to the memory card instead.

To do this, go into 'Settings' then 'Apps'. From here, you can select individual applications and be given the option to move to memory card or move to phone storage. Please note that some apps won't let you move them to the memory card and these will be greyed out.

Make sure you have the latest software version for your phone too by going to 'Settings', 'About', 'Software updates' and 'Check now'. Where possible, try and do this via Wi-Fi with a fully charged phone. :smileywink:

Let me know how you get on!

Cheers, Ben
