HTC one mini 2 - stuck on white screen. HELP!!!

My phone is driving me mad. Tonight it froze up so I tried restarting it and it got stuck on the white screen that says HTC One on it. Since then I have done a hard reset (pressing the power button and volume up key at the same time) and every time it just restarts and then gets stuck on the same screen. This has never happened before and as far as I can remember I havent added any new software. Prior to this I did get some error messages up saying that the Gallery wasnt working.

What should I do? I cannot remove the battery. Vodafone live chat doesn't seem to be working either. Any advice would be much appreciated. :Smiling:

Hi

Look at HTC help page http://www.htc.com/uk/support/htc-one-mini-2/howto/511217.html

If it won't work then perhaps contact HTC UK Support http://www.htc.com/uk/support/

The phone comes with a 24 month warranty from HTC.

Vodafone could send the phone away if deemed necessary if they can't rectify in the store but I suggest talking to the manufacturer first as they know their hardware and software better.

HI there

I think that is where the problem is.  In order to perform a factory reset, you need to press and hold the Volume down button, then press and hold the power key. Don't release these until you see the screen with the Android images.

Then use the volume key to scroll to Factory Reset and use the power button to select it.
