Vodafone,
I have done what James suggested re this forum, didnt work for me.
Whats really infuriating is i tried to resolve it myself, i read a forum, did as james suggessted, i then decided to email vodafone, via their online form, i was redirected to a video, which says follow ''these instructions'' which bear no relevance to the vodafone site, where upon my email form was duly 'lost'. This happened TWICE!
I have read the forum, seen teh videos, still cant get MMS to work on my account.

Hello vodafone I too have had the same problems with my htc wildfire S. I cannot send or receive mms messages.
I changed from pay as you go to monthly contract, prior to that mms would send fine but at high cost. Since going onto contract I have not been able to send or receive a single mms.
I found that despite requesting mms be turned on at point of sale the service was NOT enabled. Customer services kindly later enabled it.
Still unable to send or receive mms.
Called customer services again and was emailed a pdf with 29 steps to reset my mss settings.
I have received the email containing the Vodafone mms settings. I have carried them out to the letter and checked and rechecked them and STILL cannot send mms messages.
I found this forum thread while looking for a solution to the problem and can not believe that vodafone have known of it for over a year and not found a solution.
Could you make any further suggestions?
Note have tried:
1. Setting the mms settings as per the email instructions correctly and repeatedly. MMS messages still not sent.
2. Deleting "stuck" mms's and re-doing 1. Result: MMS messages still not sent.
3. Re-booting phone and re-doing 1 + 2. Result: MMS messages still not sent.
4. Turning off Wifi and doing same as 1-3. Result: MMS messages still not sent.
Could you admit please that you have no solution to this problem.

Hi Hygrocybe,
As you have already checked the setting on the phone it does lead me to believe that the account is not fully provisioned for you and I would like to double check this side of things for you.
So we can do this I have sent you a PM with instructions on how to get in touch with us directly regarding your account, please follow the instructions on the PM and one of our team will be able to pick this up for you.
You can find your PM inbox here.
James

I had this problem........then I realised I always keep my mobile network switched off till I need it. Once I switched the Mobile Network on I received my mms immediately. I felt so stupid.....but relieved.![]()

The solution I found is to whenever I want to send or receive a MMS go to Mobile network settings and select the MMS option. Then afterwards switch back to the internet settings.
WAP I never use, but today have reset my phone (for other issue) and have combined the WAP and MMS settings. Hopefully will still work.
Just a pain in the a**e that it doesn't work as it should I.e. Having to keep changing my settings just to receive or send a pic. Have even in past just told people email the pic to me
