The battery life is awful, a 40 min conversation zaps a huge 50% of the power.
If you have a number of texts from one person then it is so slow to respond it's not even funny, long enough to feel a wrinkle happening that's for sure.
Worst of all though is that since getting this phone my sim card keeps disconnecting from the network. Was told by Vodafone to take sim and battery out and re-try. This didn't work. then I was taken through the steps to manually pick another network and then re-apply to vodafone. This worked for about a day or 2 then the process would have to be repeated or no one was receiving my texts. I have been doing this for over 2 weeks now and now this is not even working and I have to take it inot a Vodafone store for repair ... repair? The blimin things not worked right from a few days in what good is a repair going to do?!
Am not a happy bunny. Why should I be paying £35 a month for a service which is not provided?
Has anyone else had these problems? (especially with the sim disconnecting).

Thanks for getting back to me Lenny, much appreciated
Just been looking down the list and this problem seems to be popping up more and more, kinda nice to know I'm not the only one, but surely if so many people are suffering from the same problem then there is a fault and the phone becomes a faulty good? The mind boggle

I have had my HTC HD2 for just over a month after waiting for a month for it to become available, all I can say is dissapointing  .

Regarding battery life; being a windows phone, if you open an app (email, maps, internet, etc) the app remains open even when you "close" it. This drains the battery big time.
Suggest you close apps with task manager on phone or get a good task manager from xda developers (load up BSB Tweaks I suggest)

The-fat-ref I’ve just posted on your thread here.
As I said in that post, 18 hours of moderate usage is not poor battery life and is quite good for devices such as the HD2.
In the above thread there are some great tips for pro-longing your battery life so I recommend you take a look.
Regarding the SMS Hotfix, let us know how you get on and if this helps.
All the best,
Jenny

I have a HTC HD2, this is my second one as i had to have it replaced as the 1st one broke down within 2 days. this is my second one and i have had it 7 days and i have had to hard reset it 3 times. To sum this phone up i would say that when it is on point it is brilliant but it is very rarely on point, it promises great things and so far has delivered very little.
My new one worked fione for a few days and has now decided thatit no longer wants to accept e-mails, a message keeps coming up saying please make sure you are connected tothe internet (which of course i am) the settings have not changed from when it did work a few days ago. I changed my IPhone for this as it looked so good (wish i hadnt bothered now, might get the 3Gis as exchange if i cant get any satisfaction with this HTC)
Does anyone have any help one the e-mail settings have ai knocked something out of line, has this happened to anyone before?
Cheers
Johnathon
