Hey guys, im new to the whole internet phone thing. I got my magic in the post today and ive been setting it all up
ive set my phones wi-fi on and its connected to my router, does that mean i can use my connection without the 500mb cap and search the net freely?

If you search whilst connected then yes, its through your home internet, not you data plan. Happy browsing!

Theres an app called netcounter http://www.jaqpot.net/netcounter/ which monitors what your using on wifi and via your mobile connection. might be worth a download!

I just wanted to jump on to let you know that the guys are spot on! If you're browsing the internet using WiFi you won't be using your Mobile Internet pack from Vodafone.
You can get loads of help and advice on setting the phone up exactly how you want it in our Magic Help Centre.
