Htc one microphone issue

Hi I have had an htc one for just over a year. The microphone has always been a bit tempremental during calls (people saying they cannot hear me), but recently I have to use the speakerphone for the receiver to hear me at all. It also does not pick up my voice for voice searches anymore also. Is this a hardware issue that needs to be repaired to be fixed or something else?

Hi. It sounds like it might be a hardware problem. Getting it checked out in a local Vodafone store would be the best bet. More help on warranty and repairs linked below
