Hi, issue with Location on the clock widget on the HTC Sensation. Work in Leeds and the location is never correct, at the moment my phone is showing me in Kralova in Slovakia. Most days it shows randon Chinese towns and rarely I'm somewhere in North America all from my desk in Leeds.

Twitter feed cant help and HTC have just ignored my question.

Any help out there?

Hi there

Have you tried updating your weather over Wifi - that sometimes helps.  Also try turning your GPS on and waiting until you get a lock before you update your weather.

If that doesn't work try reinstalling the locations files by going Menu > Settings > Locations > Re-install.  You could also try clearing the weather cache by going to Menu > Settings > Applications > Manage Applications > All and scrolling down to weather provider and selecting clear cache.

Hi, thanks for those.

I did a Factory reset yesterday but that hasnt solved the issue. I've just been looking back through the forum and I had the same issue with a previous HTC on Vodafone. No one else in the office has the same problem on either HTC or Vodafone.

I have also had a similar problem on my Desire HD... and then suddenly it just sorted itself.

Does it still do it when you have GPS on?

Are you connected to works Wi-fi when this happens and does it show you in leeds when you have data on. What does it show you at home?
