Multiple call handling

When I was an O2 customer, and prior to that an Orange customer, I had the ability to allow multiple calls to the handset. On Vodafone I don't have that facility and calls go to voicemail if I'm in a call and it can be anything from 1 minute to several hours before I get the SMS telling me I have a voicemail. I assume there is an MMI code I can dial to change this? I would hope that Vodafone allow this as all the others seem to. How can I do it?

Re: Multiple call handling

Well, it seems that the feature is calling waiting. It's amazing how easy it is to get decent search results when you remember the actual terminology.

Enter *#43# to query the call waiting status

Enter *43# to activate

Enter #43# to deactivate

Re: Multiple call handling

Isavidge,

And, if you REALLY feel brave, you could even use "mutliway calling"  (hold 6 calls at the same time  :-)  )

Good luck.
