Here are the hints and tips so far:

Hiya
Here's a tip i find useful - if you see "PUK LOCKED" on your N1 is means the PUK has been entered incorrectly 3 times but there is nowhere to try again.
Instead you have to:
1)Tap "Emergency calls only" and you will be shown the usual dialer.
2) Think of a new 4-digit PIN number.
3) Type the below into the Nexus One's dialer:
**05***#
And thats it.
Thanks
Apollo!!!

Concerned about battery usage?
Dial *#*#4636#*#* and look in the battery history section for more info on what's using it.
Alternatively install Anycut from the Market and create a shortcut to the 'Testing' app.

If, like me you don't like the stock android keyboard:

this is brilliant! Give it a try, I love it (this is not an advertisement by the way, a lot of friends using android don't know about this so far...).

If your service provider has stopped relaying the Vodafone smtp settings to use are:
Firstly you need to register an account at the 360 site.
You have to create a username and password as this is needed later. Also don't worry about the handset compatibility. That is for the app that's sent to your phone, you don't need that, just a set up account. You can choose any phone and just delete the SMS, unless your handset is compatible, and you want to use the service?
When complete place the details below in your SMTP settings for you Virgin?NTL account on your phone:
SMTP server:smtp.360.com
SMTP Port:465
SMTP requires SSL
SMTP username and password are the same as the 360 username and password
Your handset should then be able to send emails via that account.
