Hi, I'm trying to download an app from my bank. The message I get from the bank is that I need Google Play to download the app. The message I then get from Google is that the Radar is not supported , so I seem to be stuck without my bank app. Can anyone help a person of the older generation on this one? Which bank app is it ?

If you do a search on the web for the reccomended phone spec for the app or go to the web site of the bank to see what is compatiable

Hi thanks for reply,the bank is nat west. Their site only says you need google play and as I said Google say that the radar is not supported. Still no reply for h t c. Still can't find required spec for app, must be an age thing. Camper Bill

Google Play is the marketplace on Android devices to purchase apps from and would be part of the devices software, please can you let me know which device you have.

It is always good practice to ensure you have backed up all of your contacts and information as well as making sure you are using the latest software for your device, to assist you with this we have step by step guides on our Help Centre, all you need to do is select the make and model of your device.

Hi Dave, I have just upgraded to an H T C Radar.Thanks for the advice on backing up my data. Any advice is always appreciated

Hi billlyall,

From the research I've done, the Radar is a Windows Phone 7 device not Android, therefore the App you've been advised to get isn't compatible. I'd check with your bank to see if they've released, or are planning to release, an App for your phone's OS.

Thanks for all of your advice. I've just got the new phone so I'll either have to wait for NatWest to bring out an app for windows phone or change banks.
