Last night I noticed my Sensation is actually budging a little at the bottom and actually creacking when I touch the screen, it wasn't doing this initially.

I am reading about this in quite a few places for example xda and here: http://forum.androidcentral.com/t-mobile-htc-sensation/95550-anyone-hear-creaking-3.html

Is anyone elses doing the same? Apparently HTC are not aware of the issue and are recommended talking to carriers, only had this phone since the 11th of June so want to see what my options are.

I don't recall it before opening the case to insert a new Vodafone sim on Saturday, but having noticed it, its hard to ignore now.

I hear of people getting replacement and others using tape, but I don't have it infront of me here at work so its hard to see exactly what isn't sitting nicely.

No creak here on mine. Might be worth taking the back shell off and back on again to ensure a nice snug fit.

Yeah, I will give it another go tonight when I get home, something might for osme reason not be clicking into place.

Do you have much play between the screen and the back enclosure or does it all feel pretty snug?

Yeah the backplates clicking into place properly but if I press on either side in the bottom half the screen just feel loose and as if it is pushing back a bit.

The more I play the more it irritates me

Is this something that sounds like it will be possible to repair, I can't even tell which part of the device isn't fitting with the other properly.

I'd just say it's a bit of give as the back cover is seperate from the main body. I've not got the issue though and it's not something that'd bother me

As a last resort I can see official back covers already on ebay for 25 quid.

Still got the back on order, figured it might be nice to have down the line with general wear and tear... I guess it could also stand as a reference for others whether the item is genuine or not, it says it is at least.

We shall see, in the mean time I have eliminated the movement and creaking as I managed to narrow it down to the edges where the joints on the back cover where so tried out some sticky labels.

Replacement back cover came from the ebay auction linked to above and the creaking and any movement have now gone.

Just realised I appear to have "the creak" too, but frankly it doesn't bother me. What bothers me a tiny bit is the little bit where the black on the glass is missing (this was from the start though) which means blue spots show through when the menu panel light comes on at the bottom.

I've finally decided to get a case for mine but then I didn't get teh creaking sound anyway. Hopefully Otterbox will release the Communicator for the Sensation ^_^ Sadly though I have a dead pixel on my screen On the bottom right...
