Hi guys

need some help deciding between these 2 phones

looking to early upgrade to a Winmo 7 phone
with Samsung Omnia 7 seeming to be exclusive to a differant network
and only 2 available to choose from Vodafone

which 1 would people on this forum recommend??

dont bother ordering any the dont have any ,
i have been waiting over 3 weeks for lg optimus and have been told they dont have any and dont no when they are getting them i asked about htc one and was told out of stock aswell

With both being WM7 the OS is essentially the same although from playing with both I'd go with the HTC Trophy. Look and feel wise it's a very nice phone. HTC haven't gone down the 'aluminium' route (HTC Legend) - it handles more like a Desire tbh. The LG - it looked a bit too much like the Samsung M1 from the other year for me. On the WM7 front as a platform it'll take something special to pull me away from Apple and Android but I'll admit liking Microsoft Office aspects, syncing into a Live email account / Sky Drive. Decent enough revamp of Windows Mobile from Microsoft (coming from an old WM 6 user!)

I did thought of getting the HTC
but seeing as HTC have a higher spec Winmo7 i dont want to get thier lower spec 1 if LG is good

dont want to get a iPhone as every other person seems to be using 1

any1 know if vodafone stores have them in stock?
or are they outta stock everywhere?

but i already ordered mine before getting your email
would have been good to see what they could of offered me

went for the LG 1
as i read a few good reviews of it
and didnt want to go for trophy
as HTC has a higher spec winmo7 phone which vodafone don't stock

went to local store
and there wasn't any in stock
but they can't upgrade me anyway (need to be 70days till contract ends)

called upgrades said they couldn't either but i asked if they had the LG in stock and they said yes

so i used the online upgrader
got comfirmation email and despatch email today

so should be getting it tomorrow

abit off-topic
but does quidco works with the online upgrade??

It would appear that you are the only people that are getting yours, since you were vocal on here. I also ordered mine over 3 weeks ago, but I have not heard a thing about it, and am also getting the runaround with regards to contacting customer services.
