Hi I notice that after update with software that my 4g wouldn't connect at all but I never had that problem before any advice would be appreciated

Hi there

There have been some quite major updates roll out recently for the HTC One.  Have you done a hard / factory reset after installing the update.  I would personally recommend doing this after any update as it helps get rid of any dodgy bits of code and wipe any apps that just don't like being upgraded.

One thing to check, in the network settings, do you have the mode set to LTE?

Is this a system update or are you refering to the service pack update rolled out through the play store?
