my htc hd2 wont send mms texts any ideas? I,m trying to send a picture taken on phone to someone

It can only be one of two things - the service isn't on your account or the settings. The question is which, to find out get someone to send you an MMS message, if you get a text prompting you to visit www.vodafone.co.uk/getmyphoto you need the service adding to your account(customer services can do this). If you don't get a text then it's the settings on your phone, which you can check here.

The 3rd thing which I found after going through alll the steps suggested was a new sim card which did the trick, so if no joy with settings and account set up then go into a vodafone shop and they will activate a new sim for you, that should work! :rolleyes:

iam having this problem cant recive mms or send been in to a voda store like i was told to !! as its a seting problem after hr in store still not sorted saying that i got the normal text problem as well just tryed sim back in to my old stom and all find again ms text all work what do i do know can anyone help on this ??

Hi,

When you went into store did they try a new sim aswell? also apart from applying the settings have vf set up the account for mms for you? If new sim, applying settings and vf setting account for you doesnt work I would suggest sending the handset back for repaire. Good Luck

i called 191 today as all my settings were set up correct , the guy said it was all sorted and to switch off my phone for 10 mins, load of tosh the clown did not sort anything , finally got my texts sorted (3 months into my contract) , can someone sort out my mms please

The emails will also create a fresh case to resolve this.

I've just doubl;e checked your account and can see everything is set up correctly on that side, have you received your new SIM yet? have you had this activated?

If so can you let me know if you are still having the issue.

Just to let you know, in this particular case the necessary data protection details have been confirmed with the customer previously. As we haven't made any changes to the account then no breach of data protection has occurred.
