since a recent upgrade to my htc desire hd i have had a few problems when somebody texts me i have no notification sound ring although all obvious settings are right and volume is high also i have no dialing tone when trying to connect to a number even though the phone is connecting but it works if i hit the speaker phone button

Please ensure you have the latest software updates for your device.

Unfortunately this sounds as though there may be a fault with the device, your handset will be covered for 12months under the manufacturers warranty if on Pay As You Talk (PAYT) or for the duration of your agreement if on a Pay Monthly plan.

Please take this to your local store for one of our experts to take a look and advise you of your options, or we could arrange a postal repair if this is not convenient.
