Thanks for the question here.

Unfortunately the truth around this is that we don’t know.

When it comes to firmware releases we don’t have any exact dates until it is ready to be rolled out to the phones and this has begun, at the moment this has not been announced and we are unable to say when it will happen.

Hi.. I too wanna inquire about the ics update for the sensation xl.. I was hoping Vodafone could keep its customers posted.. I am writing now because a day or two back Vodafone in Australia confirmed they have the update for sensation xl and will be rolling it out soon after loading a few pre installed apps.. I was just hoping the same is the case with Vodafone uk cuz its practically the same company?

Hi Could you give us any update on when the ICS for Sensation Xl will be available to download.

As you are probably aware Vodafone Australia have released the ICS update for the full range of Sensations today.

As this update will have been tested by the same people why have UK customers been left out of any release dates ?

Unfortunately we are unable to provide any dates for a firmware release as per our firmware statement.

The only thing that I can suggest would be to give this a week and try again however; the update is being released by HTC directly slowly one device at a time however your update should arrive soon.

Update for Android 4 showing after a manual check.

Updated yesterday after getting home from work

Was able to update fine without any problems and has made a great difference to my phone.

WIFI and SD card are all working fine
