from start  how do i send a text to a new number, I want to send an answer to a quiz program but cant open up a text page, i put the nember in and it says call, i dont want to call i want to send a text message.

On your home screen select the applications option and then select messages from the list of applications. Once in the message app you should have an option at the top to compose a message. Select that and you should have a new message open.

In the "to" field type the number you wish to text.

hi i wonder if any1 can help me i was on the fone to my girlfriend and we got cut off i foned her back to see why we were just cut off and she said too me i have just recieved a text from you...but the irony of this story is i never wrote no text message or sent any text message..has anybody got any answers...thank you very much

Thanks for your post.

There might be a setting somewhere that you've activated that allows you to send a message if the call cannot be taken or gets cut off.
