Except your headband and password say web an mine say wap. Wonder if that makes a differance?

Hi lay of recreant, thank you they are the settings I have. Its annoying but I'll just have to wait and hope Vodafone fix my problem by Friday as I have been told. Know its possible as they fixed Allys exactly the same problem. Thanks for your help

So glad!  The similar case that I'd found had been sorted out over the phone without the mysterious 48-hour delay (someone at Vodafone had pressed a magic switch, and hey presto), so I have to confess I feared the worst, but clearly I should have had greater faith.

Well, same case here...Today I had internet for TWO or THREE hours and now...gray bar. This is amazing...I  spoke with an "vodafone advisor" by chat,then by telephone FOUR times  since last monday and nobody told me anything about this "Voda issue".... Today, after my "short" internet allowance, I went to a Vodafone store. Bad idea. They haven't any idea about configure APN (they changed the password!  PP instead WEB)
By the way, Kay from tech team says "Please check this user guide which has the full manual settings listed. " but there is nothing about apn protocol...must be IPv4 ,IPv6 or IPv4/IPv6? what about apn roaming protocol?

hi sebalberico yes their the settings i have, if you ring customer services and ask to speak to technical services they should be aware of the issue an put you right fingers crossed.may i ask did you have any trouble with freebee,s ?

Well, since monday I spoke with too many people even from technical services.... The second time they told me that they will call me again today at 4 pm.... they called me, of course.... but  they left me in stand by and then...zap! a female voice said (a machine of course) "try again later, thank you!" end of the conversation..... after that I went to Voda store.
About freebees, yes...a lot of troubles. I have freebee messages & internet....before topup everything was right...after it, freebee was not activated (my 10 pounds went straigh ahead to my credit but my messages and internet allowance was ZERO. Then I called then and fix this problem but another one starts...
By the way chris, would you mind telling me what do you have in:
APN protocol,APN roaming protocol and  in MMSC do you have it blank or with " http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms"?   How many PAYG options do you have in your APN? I have PAYG internet-PAYG wap and PAYG MMS...

thats exactly what happened with me failed freebee they reset an then no internet .ring them again an explain this i have the servlet mmsc and just payg wap.i hope this doesn.t happen everytime we top up.

To be Honest, this is my second topup, I'm with voda since December. The first time after topup Freebee fails (like this time),after ring them ,all was sorted.... this time :freebee fails and internet doesn't work...what I should expect for the next month?? aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh!!!!
