I'm using a K3760 in postcode SE13 5AX. It connects fine with the signal as 'very good' and the turquoise light on the dongle, however when I open a browser (IE or chrome) it will not load up anything and eventually times out and the download indicator won't budge from 0 bps. If I put the settings to 'edge/GPRS only' it works albeit very slowly. Can anyone help? In the early days I was always having nightmares with vodafone mobile broadband but I have to say that for the last year it has been very good. This problem started on Monday. Thanks Steve

It sounds as though your connection is in Local only.
If you hover your mouse over the network icon in the system tray it should say Local and Internet.
Do you have any Anti Virus programs running such as AVG, ZoneAlarm?
Could be blocking the connection.

Had the same problem in central Scotland (especially Glasgow - reported by many others).
Always get a 3G signal, but no throughput, or extremely slow. So much so that I moved one of my contracts to Three - after using one of their MiFi devices for several months.
With Three and their HSPDA+ upgrades, I am now getting 4-12mb all the time. Often in places I never even had Vodafone 3G.
