Advice for PAYG mobile BB restricted access sites

I have been trying all last night and this morning to contact the support group to de-restrict my account with reference to restricted sites, as yet all i've had are automated replies.

Is there someone on here that can actually do this and tell me how to achieve this today, looking on this forum people have struggled for months andi'mnot waiting,it will be returned faulty (i can not access the internet as it states).

I bought the dongle so i could place a few bets online, i feel at 37 i'm  more than capable of censoring my own internet viewing.

The customer service for a communication company absolutely stinks.

Advice to anyone who is lucky enough to find this message before purchasing a vodafone PAYG mobile BB is don't bother. Go elsewhere NOW.

I hope someone with the authority to either respond in customer services to my emails or can action this stumbles accross this message as treating customers like this is a disgrace, a simple system that can be actioned by the customer is all you need especially when you can't be bothered to adjust the settings yourself.

Mike

Re: Advice for PAYG mobile BB restricted access sites

You have to have content control removed by visiting you local Vodafone shop and giving them the 'mobile' device number on you VMC dash. Or it can be done with a credit card from their website I believe.
Any way, Google 'remove vodafone content control' and there you'll find plenty of links to help you.

Also don't waste time emailing or using this forum for support. Call 191 and you will get help in minutes. 25p well spent.

Hi Michael1923,

I can see that you have sent emails to our customer service team on the 6th February however these are yet to be pulled and are still waiting in the queue.

I have pulled one of your emails and replied to this regarding your account query.
