Like everyone else I am lost without my phone, I like to talk, text and I use my phone as my camera, so am truly lost without it.
I bought a phone from Vodafone shop to put me on til I can upgrade my phone (not as good as am used to but will do for now).
After booking my holiday I decided to ask Vodafone if I could upgrade my phone early as I wanted to be able to use it as a camera for hols. Even though I've been a customer for years they still point blank said no.
Needless to say I will not be renewing my contract when this one expires (I've been with other providers before, so I can quite easily switch back). Sorry to go on, but wanted to vent my disappointment.

I to have an issue with an upgrade. My current contract is due for renewal and i have contacted customer services numerous times and have been told point blank no. I have also been into various mobile shops and they too have said no, to my disbelief they were all 'sorry cant give you an answer'. Iam a little disapointed as I have been a Vodafone customer for many years now and would of thought that as Iam have a 18 month contract they would let me add the months left to the renewal, but no is all customer services say. Iam really, really disappointed as I would like the HTC Desire!!!

Thanks for the post and welcome to the Vodafone eForum.
I'll be honest with you, like Holly's said above to st1801, without taking a look at your account
I can't really comment on your account.
I'll be sending you an email and once we've got your reply, we can have a look and see what we can do for you.
Many Thanks

i have just come across this forum discussion, after having more trouble with vodafone customer service. I have had problems after problems with vodafone for the past few years, but have always been convinced to stay with them. I have held a contract with vodafone for years now, and have spent a lot of money on contracts and phones over these years. I recently broke my blackberry, and rang up to see if i coould have an early upgrade. I was told that i coud not upgrade until jan 2012. I then found out i was issued a 24 month contract, when i asked for a 18th month one. I am not sure what to do, as i need a phone for ever day business, but customer service does not seem to be to botherd about it, as logn as you take my £30+ a month i supose its ok? Im having trouble with convincing my sel fto stay with vodafone, and will belooking for alternative options if somthing can not be resovled. The worst thing is, from this discusion it seems that it affects other customers too.
