Dell Mini 9 Vodafone Connect

I have a Dell Mini 9 don’t use it that often gave it to a friend when his was down, but other than that i don’t often use it unless away from the House on Holiday ect.
It is on contract and has a Sim in it but went to use it the other Night when my Home Broadband was down and the Vodafone Connect seems to be broken! How do if fix this?
Can i delete it in the Delete Programs and then Re-Install it from a Download as there is No CD-Rom to re-install anything?

Sorry there's been no reply to this yet. I don't know the Mini 9 but for others to help:
- what are the symptoms (i.e. how is it broken, won't detect modem, no signal, won't connect, error message etc)?
- and to help with locating a download, what VMC is running (i.e. is there a version number in the"Help, About")
