Hi

I purchased a dongle in Lanzarote (Vodafone ES) and 2GB of internet access. I am travelling to Portugal and want to know if I can use the dongle and/or SIM or do I need to buy a new Dongle/SIM for Portugal 

I plugged the Dongle in at home and it asked for a PIN which I also do not have!

Any help would be appreciated.

You would need to ask Vodafone in Spain. VF UK are unlikely to be able to help you. You probably need the international bar taken off the account but if you are using a VF ES dongle in the UK or in Portugal you may be subject to roaming charges and you might not be able to use your 2Gb allowance outside of Spain as VF Passport does not include data.

Just one more question - could I use the Vodafone Dongle I bought in Spain and then buy a SIM in Portugal or would I need to buy both a Portuguese Dongle and SIM to access mobile broadband in Portugal?

I would assume that a Portuguese sim would work in your Spanish dongle but I can't be sure. I'm afraid to be sure its the same answer - speak to Vodafone ES or Portugal. All VF companies are separate entities and what holds true in one country may not hold true in another.
