VMC settings

Is it possible to force the VMC software to only attemp to connect to 3G or better.

There are numerous 2G masts in my location which give a stronger signals but the connection speeds are rubbish.

Thanks for your post here.

I’m afraid in the newer versions of the Vodafone Mobile Broadband software there is no option for specifying the connection type you wish to use when using the mobile network.

Forgot to ask what version was it that you could select the 2G?3G?  Was it compatible with the K3805Z?

Hi infared,

Unfortunately the only version that are currently available from our website is version 10.0 or later.

You would need to find a version 9 however this would need to come from a 3rd party as it is no longer available from our site.

I have an original V9.???? that auto starts but I cancell and use V10 or MDMA.  I'll see whether that allows 3G only.
