Re: Vodafone Broadband and Network Provider for Mobile Phones

If they are against Vodafone rules then why did two members of staff break them?  The evidence is in my inbox stored on Microsoft's servers.

Of COURSE you have read all the posts.  I totally believe you.

Sorry I don't know much but you have to try and cancel the contract mainly if there is nothing in the contract that you can take it back if you are not satisfied.  Read the contract and see if it does.  If not, then I don't know.  I've been told several ways on how to cancel your contract.  Someone said to give a tech my number and they'll cancel it but I haven't asked what security checks they have over the phone so I don't see any point in giving them my number.  I might just have to pretend that them having my e-mail linked to my Vodafone account is not implemented in their system and therefore just them having my e-mail never happened ever at all ever not even once and give them the crazy info they're asking for.  Alternatively, I could do what I suggested could happen depending on what happens after (even if they do) cancel my account for example, threatening me with letters like BT used to.  If they are amicable, I will pay some money to them but not all that they are asking for seen as it's their fault I got overdrawn with my bank in the first place and no transactions took place to pay even half of the bill which should not have been doubled in the first place.  I dunno, I'll have a think about it.

Anyway for people that didn't read it or only read certain bits to throw attacks at me, what are the details that I will be asked for over my Mobile Phone to validate the security check so I can have my contract cancelled?

Also, could someone explain to me what the details are for the same thing above but for e-mail and please explain to me what a security code is (which security code and how I find it) please?

Re: Vodafone Broadband and Network Provider for Mobile Phones

I would recommend going into your local Vodafone store but they gave me and a friend incorrect information.

Re: Vodafone Broadband and Network Provider for Mobile Phones

Why didn't anyone answer my question about whether Vodafone would spam me if I gave them my Mobile Phone number? I'm no longer with Vodafone for mobile phones anymore and what's so good about it (Pay as you Go) is that all you have to do is have lots of fun by breaking it and chucking it in the bin.

Oh and I believe that uncapping is illegal.

Hi Joepoe

The information by mandingo77 is correct, thanks for that :smileyhappy:

I understand why you would need a cap, unfortunately there is not one in place to do so. The returns policy is 7 days from the point of purchase. If you return it within that time frame from where you brought it from, you would then get a refund.

@ LoyalCustomer - The number will not be used to spam you, it is just so that I can call you and cover the security, this is your date of birth and full address details that match your account. Once this has been passed I can then cancel your contract. Without that I will be unable to cancel this. If this is something that you don't wan't to give you can write in to cancel the contract, but the security details will remain the same.

Re: Vodafone Broadband and Network Provider for Mobile Phones

That is exactly correct.  The Mentor's information was the correct solution, not the incorrect information I gave him which someone deleted.  That is why I don't deserve to work for companies like Vodafone.

Re: Vodafone Broadband and Network Provider for Mobile Phones

Thank you for providing me the information so I can cancel my contract.  I shall manually pay all the fees with the click of a button on my Vodafone account because you have all done such a good job at attempting to mess with my head and throw legal jargon at me designed to intimidate me.  I will look forward to the bay lifts coming round to take all my valuables.

Re: Vodafone Broadband and Network Provider for Mobile Phones

Oh now I get it.  No one responded to my questions because they all fit into the category of "not reading" or "reading certain things that I have wrote to take it out of context" and because I was aiming my questions at people that don't fit the category above, that is why I haven't been given any answers or maybe it's because someone did actually give the correct information by posting it here for me but it got deleted for being inappropriate because of the TOS which really does stand a chance in court as "evidence".

Re: Vodafone Broadband and Network Provider for Mobile Phones

Oops sorry Martin I didn't notice you answered a couple of my questions.  I hope you understand that I didn't sleep at all last night for some "unknown reasons".

Ok well that looks like the best way.  But what then?  Don't any of the staff want to talk about my problem which I mentioned that tied in with the other person's problem that got deleted?  If these Moderators are going to delete posts just to hide something from people then are they at least going to look into what was said to improve the services of Vodafone?

Re: Vodafone Broadband and Network Provider for Mobile Phones

I would like to negotiate some kind of agreement done in an amicable way if any staff are interested in this.  I just need to find my phone then I can send you a PM with my Mobile Phone number unless your e-mail is in your profile so I dunno whether to send to both or just e-mail... stuff it I'll just send to e-mail.  Sorry if I appear to look crazy.  I am not having a good time at the moment.  I hope you understand that I would like to get all of this wrapped up in a nice way where there are no ill feelings between me and the staff that actually give a damn unlike that Mentor (who probably doesn't even work for Vodafone anyway but has been backed up by the Moderators).

I can't even remember who I am angry with and who I am not seen as I have had so many people get on and on and on at me and making me repeat over and over and over again and then throwing "scripts of words" at me which seem to me that they are either BOT features or... forget it I shouldn't be ranting like this in the first place and this will probably get deleted also lol.

Anyway, once those messages that I have wrote have been deleted because they are against the TOS and the Mentor has stuck to it by not flaming me by calling me an idiot, I hope that all this lameness can stop and have a conversation instead of a blag fest.

Re: Vodafone Broadband and Network Provider for Mobile Phones

Hi LoyalCustomer

I have tried to help you but I need a contact number to get this cancelled. This is clearly confirmed in the posts that I have given.

If you can PM me a contact number I will call you and we can get this dealt with in an amicable way.

Without that number we are unable to assist you any further on the eForum as all of the information has already been given in a clear way.

To let you know a "mentor" on the forum is someone who as posted on the forum and has received a certain amount of kudos for the helpful information given to other users of the eForum

Re: Vodafone Broadband and Network Provider for Mobile Phones

I don't give a flying ####### if the Mentor gained... what are they called, Kupos?  If you read what I posted also, then you would have good reason to not tell me about your amazing Mentor and how crap my advise is.  I wish I would've saved this entire page as .mht or .html and uploaded it on a separate server but that is too late now.

You also know that I am preparing to give you my mobile number (which you don't actually know because you didn't read my previous post properly or you did read it but fit into the other category I mentioned which came as a surprise because I thought you were going to be genuine.

I am looking for my phone then I will send you my number and if you gave me "incorrect information" about being spammed by Vodafone because you thought you were right at the time but wasn't, then I will get your entire network blocked.

What an amazing experience this has been.

Re: Vodafone Broadband and Network Provider for Mobile Phones

Atm, I don't know how to retrieve my mobile phone number because I have only been with Vodafone since I ever had my first phone in the first place and the system for Three is completely different so you can either understand that I may be some time or you can join the other people in the fun of messing with my head (which is not true because they are not messing with my head, they're just trying to help me and nothing more... I honestly believe that all of you are trying to help me and that I am just an awkward customer that is always wrong).

Re: Vodafone Broadband and Network Provider for Mobile Phones

Your God of Mentors gave advice to someone that he should use the Mobile Connect Software to monitor the bandwidth usage but I then said not to because it has calculation errors and that information came from the tech team when I was trying to get my situation sorted on chat but what they didn't tell me is that it means the latest Software for Mobile Connect has exactly the same problems as the one that installs from the Dongle.  I said to check online on the Vodafone Account to check usage which includes things like Windows Updates that Mobile Connect does not log and add to the usage bar then he said his 78 year old dad can't do any of these things then I said... well there is no point in saying what I want to say because it "violates the TOS" as being "inappropriate" so this post will either be modified or deleted.  Ok, back to trying to find my Mobile Phone number.

Re: Vodafone Broadband and Network Provider for Mobile Phones

In combination with what you people have done to me and other personal matters that are none of your business, I did not manage to find a quick way to find my Mobile Phone number so I will get it as soon as humanly possible.

Re: Vodafone Broadband and Network Provider for Mobile Phones

Thanks Martin!  It took you not even five minutes to ring me back to get the contract cancelled with the extra surprise (like a Christmas present) that you have cleared all my payments so I don't have to worry about anything at all.  This is a massive weight off my mind and it was a pleasure to talk to you over the phone.  I hope I can be of service voluntarily if you or anyone needs it but I should just leave it to the tech team lol seen as this Customer Care forum does actually work.  At the end of the day, it took so long because of how I started the post and trying to make points and stuff.  Sorry about that.
