Connection available but not connecting?

I just recently brought this vodaphone dongle and topped up £15, it says that there are signals available but when I go to connect it says there is an error. It is usually a flashing green light. I know the signal works because my sister has an old vodaphone dongle and that is able to connect. I checked my area and it says my signal is fine.

Can you help please?
