I have just bought a Windows 8.1 machine. When I go to install the software from USB Stick K3772 it warns of compatibility errors.
Is it safe to install or should I use something else. Laptop is HP Pavillion L0E22EA#ABU

Hi and Welcome to the forum.

Does it say what compatibility problems would exist ?

I know when I've seen similar pop ups I've continued and it's been fine.

Of course it's your decision as the user to go ahead or not.

I'd perform a Google Search to see if you get any hits back wit information pertinent to the issue or maybe another member with that Windows platform and device can comment.

Good luck.

The K3772-Z is compatible with Windows 8 and should also work with 8.1. You may just need to reinstall the software if it causes any issues.

Thanks. Not sure if there is a difference between K3772 and K3772-Z. The message it gives just says "This program has known compatibilty issues"

Hi

Yes the same style of messages I remember when I used Windows.

Well ou know what I did when I received these types of messages. 😉

Let us know how you get on.

That usually means that it hasn't been specifically written to work on Windows 8.1.  If you do have issues, you can always try running the software in compatibility mode. I would go ahead with the installation and see how it behaves before trying that though.
