Mobile Broadband - ATD Dial Error

Hi, I have a Vodafone small business 30d mobile broadband SIM which I have in a Huawei E272 modem.

The modem works fine when directly connected to my computer and using Vodafone Mobile Connect but when I try to connect to the network with the modem plugged in to my Billion BiPAC 7402NX I get an "ATD dial error".

Any ideas what I might be doing wrong? I have the following parameters configured in my BiPAC:

TEL no.: *99***9#
APN: internet
Username: web
Password: web
Auth. Protocol: Chap (Auto)
MTU: 1500
Pin: 0000
Connection: Always On
Keep Alive: Enable
Obtain DNS Automatically: Enable.



I have confirmed that the BiPAC supports the E272 and when I update the APN, Username, Password and Pin for my O2 3G dongle and plug that in to the BiPAC it works AOK.

Hi chollo,

The correct APN for the 30-day expiry PAYG modems is "ppbundle.internet"

All other details are correct :)
