Mobile WiFi charges after data runs out

I have a 5gb mobile WiFi package. I recently hit 5.13gb in data transferred, but the service is still working and doesn't seem to have slowed down. Am I being charged extra for going over, or has it just not slowed down yet?

If you have gone over your allowance, you will be charged. The allowances aren't capped so please be careful if you don't want to pay extra.
