Using Vodafone R101 with an Italian Sim and dongle

Hi there,

I'm thinking of buying the R101 Sharing dock for use with an Italain Vodafone Dongle and Italain Vodafone Non-Expiring Prepaid sim.

Just wondering if I buy the Dock from the UK if it will be compatible with foreign dongle as I cant seem to find a dock abroad.

This would be great as I saves me having to get Wired Broadband and pay a contract when I'm not in the country for half the year.

It should work, though you may need to unlock the device first.
