k4505 Won't Connect

Hi All

 

Hopefully someone has come across this before as I am stuck. I have a K4505 dongle I am using on my work laptop, which running firmware 11.870.02.10.11 and I have installed the Vodafone mobile software 10.3.414.50177.


The issue is the dongle will not detect a network, The mobile status is No Network and I have a light on the dongle is giving a green double flash. I think its unlikely that its a network issue as I have 2 other devices on Vodafone (Lumia 635 showing 4bars on 3G and an iPhone 5 show 3bars on 4G)

 

Any suggestions?

Hi @benpicot

 

If you’ve got another Vodafone SIM , please test this is the dongle.

 

This way we can check if it’s an account issue or not.
