Re: A quick update

I live in Whitehill and Signal has been intermittent all day. One minute 3 bars next minute nothing. And to be honest it is about 80% of nothing!! So frustrating! Especially when you're in the middle of a bloody conversation!

Please please please just get it sorted ASAP. Sick of this, paying for such shoddy service!

Will Bordon / Whitehill have Vodafone Coverage back before 2012 ???

Re: GU35 - Bordon - No Network

I have tried to complain via the contact us part on their website. The email has failed to go 3 times now - frustration overload!
So, once again, Vodafone fail to deliver a simple service. I pay alot of money every month. Disgusting.

Re: GU35 - Bordon - No Network

My friend is with Orange and has never had a problem with reception in the Bordon area. I need Sure signal in my house as I get nothing. Orange works fine here even with 3G.....
I can't wait to get out of this contract with both of my phones.

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your posts on this. I’m sorry to hear that you are having problems with this again.

The site was down yesterday under reference 2349723 but I believe it is back up again now. Can you confirm?

Thanks

Wayne

Re: GU35 - Bordon - No Network

Down again 12/03/2012

Is there anything listed in the faults section? Of course not. I can't be bothered to ring to complain because I don't have the time to go through the stupid steps.

Oh, and it's everyone in our workplace so not my phone!

no network service in the GU350 bordon area.

1). Does the issue happen in just one location?

happens in the Bordon area to my knowledge, GU350

2). Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone?

The issue is effecting at least 7 people they are the people i know of im sure it is effecting many more.

4). Can you check our Faults Board, which contains all the mast issues we’re aware of.
as far as i can see you have not properly rectified the fault as it is the fouth time in 6 months

the first occasion 2 days second 2 days third 1 days and this the fourth so far is 2 days.

5). Does this issue happen on 2G/3G or both. To check this, you can amend your phone's network settings, our Help Centre contains all the instructions, just select your model of phone and then select "network".

my phone says NO SERVICE.

6). What is the full postcode of where the issue occurs (if you’re uncomfortable with this appearing on the forum, then please add it to your profile by clicking “My eForum Settings” on the front page and then selecting “Personal Information”

GU350

7). How far you have to travel to get signal

around 1.5 to 2 miles.

8). Do you get any error messages/tones if you’re having problems with calling/texting

just the NO SERVICE where it would usualy say how much signal i have.

Re: GU35 - Bordon - No Network

Hi Guys,

I can see that there is currently an issue listed on our faults board and it has been passed over to our engineers for further investigation under reference 2381615.

From what I can see there has been a number of things being worked on in the area over the past couple of months and we do hope to have everything back up and running as soon as possible.

In the meantime you may notice times where signal is up and down whilst all of the works are completed.

James

Re: GU35 - Bordon - No Network

I also have no network in this area (lindford to bordon traffic lights, signal becomes available when you get to Sleaford traffic lights, we do seem to have an issue in this area as during the past six months we seem to lose the signal on a regular base. Its very annoying, and if trying to report this issue to Vodafone you are charged 25p, which gets right up my nose, as its a vodafone problem..

Re: GU35 - Bordon - No Network

I live in Whitehill and have had no signal since I got home from work last night. Still nothing now and I am currently in lindford and signal is out there too. Vodafone should automatically text/email customers in the area when they know works are being carried out on the towers. Rather than leaving their customers stranded with no communication! This is ridiculous. My contract is due for renewal in June seriously thinking of moving to another network!
