If you're experiencing any possible network issues, please read the information below before posting. This will help us to identify any issues more quickly. A network issue would include loss of signal, poor signal or problems making/receiving calls or texts.
1. Update your network connection:
Switch off and restart your handset. If this doesn't help, check your specific handset instructions, tell your phone to try to connect to another network, and then pick Vodafone again.
2. Check if the issue only happens in one location:
If it happens everywhere you go, please see point 3. If it only happen in one location, check point 4.
3. Test your SIM in another phone
If an issue is happening everywhere, it will usually be caused by a faulty phone or SIM. If it's the SIM, pick up a new one for free from your Nearest Vodafone Store. If it's the phone, check our Vodafone Repair page for what to do next.
4. Check your coverage with our UK Coverage Checker
If your coverage is low, or the issue only happens when you're indoors, Sure Signal provides full 3G signal in your home.
5. Check our Network Updates board
This contains all site issues we've been made aware of. Subscribe to the relevant thread and receive an alert once it's fixed.
6. Check for existing threads with the search bar nead the top of the forum.
Search for the first half of your postcode or area. If there's alread a thread about an issue in your area, post within that thread.
7. Post the Network issue template (below)
Copy the below template and post in the Network Queries board. The more detail we have, the quicker we can identify and resolve the issue.
Post Title: 'First half of post code - Area' E.g. ST1 - Stoke on trent
