Solution

I haven't used my Samsung e1200 in over a year and I can't do anything right now, what do I do?

I bought a Samsung e1200 like two years ago and to be honest I have rarely used it since buying it. So today I turned it on looking to do somethings on it like try to make a call but it says emergency calls only. Now I've done a bit of researching and I read that if you don't use it for a given amount of time, in this case more than 270 days the sim gets disconnected, so how do I resolve this issue?

Hi @Ktia1

Take the  phone into a Vodafone store and see there is any possibility of getting a SIM for the phone. Looking at the link below, you will need a mini SIM for the phone.

GSM Arena - Samsung E1200

I hope this helps.

Hi @Ktia1

Once a sim has been deactivated for non usagd it cannot be re activated.

The number is lost along with any credit.

A vodafone store can supply a new Payg sim with a new number or even discount £1 shops supply them.

Or order a new Payg sim via https://freesim.vodafone.co.uk/
