1) Does the issue happen in just one location? If so, how far do you have to travel to regain service?  ONLY IN HOME VILLAGE HAVE TO TRAVEL APPROX 1 MILE TO GET SIGNAL

 

2) What is the full postcode (e.g. ST1 1AA) of where the issue occurs? If you don't want this showing on the Community, add it to your profile here. AS PER PROFILE

 

3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone? OCCURRING ON ALL VODAFONE PHONES, MINE, DAUGHTERS AND WORK PHONE

 

4) What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs? NO CONNECTION

 

5) Does this happen on 2G, 3G, 4G or all? ALL

    

6) When did you first notice this issue? 21ST FEB 2017

 

7) Is the issue permanent or intermittent? If intermittent, are there certain times of the day when it occurs?  IT VARIES MOSTLY ALL DAY BUT THEN ON OTHER OCCASIONS ITS INTERMITTENT BUT NO PATTERN.  I WAS TOLD BY PERSON ON LIVE CHAT IT WAS UPGRADE WORK THAT WOULD TAKE MAX 6 DAYS FROM 22/2/17 BUT ITS STILL HAPPENING.  SCHOOLS USE TEXT SERVICES FOR NOTIFICATIONS AND I AM UNABLE TO RECEIVE THEM.

Hi

 

Your local masts are not showing any known issues but when zooming out your surrounding masts are. 

 

It can sometimes affect a persons local masts if Vodafone are re routing network traffic to compensate. 

 

"We're doing some work on our network in this area to improve your calls, texts and data coverage. Sorry if you notice any disruption. We're expecting to have things back to normal by 6pm 28 Feb 2017. Everything else should be working fine."

 

It can take a few days for a mast to fully settle occasionally

Thanks for that.  I have been given varying dates though for it to be rectified.  I was told it would be completed by the latest yesterday.  I can receive calls through wi-fi calling but why can't messages be sent the same way.  It has caused a massive problem for a week.

Unfortunately it's difficult for Vodafone to give an exact timescale due to the reasons set out in link > 2) Why can't you give me a timescale on the fix?

 

Registering for updates is a good tool to be kept in the loop. 

 

I hope this is resolved asap for you.

Thanks for that, again.  I've registered for updates using my email and phone number and haven't received anything from anyone.  Therefore it's not a good tool.  It would be a good tool if it worked! I've had to chase any information I've received. Its also gone past 6pm on 28th Feb and the signal is still intermittant, mainly no signal.  I guess another deadline has come and gone.  Thanks anyway.
