Surely instead of sponsoring this sale, the network could benefit more from the money?

Hi,

I agree it's frustrating when a person is in fringe areas, not spots or rural areas that suffer from intermittent or non existent signal.

Looking at Vodafones link > network-improvements.

They are continuing to invest a few quid into their infrastructure.

That said they like most business they will have a Pr Department that invests / sponsors.

I am actually in an area with almost constant 4G. But just thought the money could be spent in more useful places, especially when behind the competition.

Me too :Smiling:

I was speaking from the perspective of that when a person is unhappy with a Network it is typically in connection to signal / speeds or there lack Off and call out for improvement / investment to the infrastructure / masts.

Vodafone is spending around £700 million a year on network infrastructure - £2 billion over three years.

It's advertising budget will be miniscule in comparison to that figure. Advertising on an internet website or the TV has no effect on it's ability to build a reliable network.
