Re: Is this how you treat your customers after years of loyalty!

I had perfect signal when I got home last night. I was able to text, call and whatssapp.

Now however is a totally different story. Whatsapp won't connect at all. My phone tells me that I have signal and that I have internet access but unable to make/receive calls and sending texts takes 3 attempts.

This is absolutely ridiculous!

:smileyvery-happy: Emailed the CEO as above, as I only have 3 months left on my contract they have agreed to release me from it at no further cost to me.

Have contacted 3 who I had no trouble with previously and have taken (removed) deal.  Half the price and a signal.  win win :smileylol:

Goodbye Vodafone, its been memorable for all the wrong reasons.

Re: Is this how you treat your customers after years of loyalty!

The signal is now down totally in the Bordon area.

I am now moving to O2 , as are all my family, This has been shocking lack of service from Vodaphone. Unbelivable that no one with a shred of decencywith management responsibility has had the integrity to come onto this thread.

Again, I request anyone on here to share experiences of how this is limiting their lives.

This thread will be submitted to media desks, and anything that can help them to take it up will have impact.

Re: Is this how you treat your customers after years of loyalty!

Hi just joined to post how awful the signal is in Bordon.

My phone shows signal but my customers can't get through.

I spent ages trying to get through to Vodaphone with no luck to get a refund of sorts!

I have lost a lot of money as I'm a taxi driver and rely on my phone for work(hands free of course).

As soon as my contract is up O2 will have my business as they have a far better signal in this area.

This has been an ongoing problem for more than a few years in this area, the signal fluctuates all the time and drops calls which is annoying.

A very poor show from a company that I expected more of!

Re: Is this how you treat your customers after years of loyalty!

And we're down again!

I'd love to say I'm suprised by this.. But quite frankly, Vodafone's service is nothing short of ######. It's absolutely pathetic.
Taking money and providing what? Substandard service? Service at all would be nice!

I'll be making an official complaint tomorrow.

Re: Is this how you treat your customers after years of loyalty!

Hi everyone.

I understand that this is causing great frustration, we are aware of a site fault and this is currently reflected on our Faults Board reference 2381615, we have also escalated this as a top priority and we hope to have full service up as soon as we can.

I understand that many of you will feel this is not enough however I can assure you we are doing everything we can and your patience is greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

DaveCD

Re: what IS going on with this network?

Can they tell you why it is? No.

Wanna know what's being done about it? Sod all. Absolutely, sod all.

And, you guys had the cheek to bill me £59 instead of the £31 my contract states. Know what that is? Theft. Petty theft.

Hi silverspoons

I can confirm that the case reference detailed in DaveCD's earlier post has now been resolved on 19th March and the Faults Board was updated to reflect this. After 24 hours faults showing as resolved are removed from the board.

In relation to your most recent bill, I'd suggest taking a look at your billing details on My Account and if you see any irregularities on your bill that have caused the increase this month please let us know.

Thanks

Simon

Re: GU35 - Bordon - No Network

The day I seriously need to rely on my phone the bloody network is down. Driving home I had 20+ text messages received.

I'm absolutely furious about this. I shall be leaving them next May at the end of my contract... I can't be arsed to ring because you have no clue what the problem is or when it will be fixed.

Re: GU35 - Bordon - No Network

Once again no service in Bordon!! Day 4 now with no calls or texts. Can we have a straight answer as to when this is going to be resolved? This keeps happening over and over. We rely on our phones for work. I want to be dismissed from both our contracts early and I will seek legal advice with regard to this. I am not paying any more for a service I dont receive!!

Re: GU35 - Bordon - No Network

Why are we having so many network problems in Bordon? How many times this year has the network gone down?  I have 3 phones on my account and for the last 3 days they have been useless. I've been getting texts during the night when the signal comes back on that were sent the day before or go out of the area and they all come at once. Is Bordon a dead spot?!!! Come on Vodafone, pease get this sorted. I pay nearly £100 a month for this privilege but 2 phones are due for renewal in the new year. Another provider seems to be the only option in the future.

Re: GU35 - Bordon - No Network

AGAIN!

No signal today, nor any day this week (w/c 3rd December 2012)

This is ludicrous. My work mobile and home mobile are both affected as are all the works phones in the office. (Say goodbye to that revenue, Voda). The MD is furious and always asking me why there is no signal. I tell him that Vodafone has been awful in this area for around 18 months. He will not renew next year,

Why is it that this issue has been going on for so long?

I am fed up with it too. I am getting a new sim-free phone at Christmas and guess which network it will not be on.....
