No signal in EX39

Hi.

We have no signal in EX39, Clovelly area, North Devon. It has been going on for nearly a week. Myself and at least three different people have the same problem, on Blackberry, HTC, Samsung and iPhone. If we travel to EX32 area, we have full service, but EX39 has no calls, texts or data. My girlfriend on Orange has full service.

Please advise as we need our phones for work as we work in care for vulnerable children, including our unit manager!

Kind regards,

Matt

Re: No signal in EX39

I already gave all these answers:

1 & 2. Problem only occurs in EX39. No problem in nearby towns.

3.Hgher Clovely Cross, where we are now, I should have good indoor coverage. I have absolutely non. Not even one bar wherever i stand.

4. A post was posted today on the faults board but it just says "no timescale".

5. There is no signal whatsoever.

6. EX39 5RZ

7. About 15 miles.

8. Yes, an error saying "Out of Service Area".

Re: No signal in EX39

Hi gilroy99,

As you mention, there is a record on the faults board for your local covering site 17050.

We are unable to give timescales due to the number of factors involved, from site access to nature of fault and availability of parts. Rest assured that this has been identified and is being worked on to restore signal as soon as possible.

Re: No signal in EX39

Hi.

This fault was marked as solved. It has not been. Signal comes for about 10 minutes at a time, then goes again. So far today I have not had signal once. I followed all the Trobleshooting steps, and have the same results as before. Why say you have solved it when there are still faults?

Is my phone bill not enough to warrant decent service?

Re: No signal in EX39

Hi gilroy99

Thanks for your update. The networks team and engineers do perform a number of tests on the site before confirming that a fault or maintenance test has been completed. I've referred your post back to the team to double check the site as you're still experiencing problems with coverage in your area and as soon as we have an update we'll be in touch.

Thanks

Simon

Hi mattyboy,

The issue reported here is with the networks team for investigation.

Can I get you to confirm your postcode just so we can ensure that this is the same case?

Hi Guys,

We have raised this issue with our network teams on Sunday evening however, as of yet we have not had a response.

Hopefully this won’t be too much longer and as soon as we hear back from them we will post the update for you all to see.

Re: No signal in EX39

Hi all,

The network team have confirmed there is a ticket under investigation for site 17050 for the issue originally raised on this thread.

mattyboy7110 - Your postcode is slightly away from this area, and is covered by site 17051 instead. So that we can see if this needs to be added to the same investigation or raised as a different case, can you confirm the information requested in the template on the network troubleshooter for me as well? I don't want to let anything affecting you be masked by the other issue if it's not linked.
