hi there can anybody help theres been no service in bicester all day does anybody know whats happening it,s costing me a fortune

I live in Bicester and have had no signal for well over 24 hours. went to cowley earlier and had no signal still!! have spoken to someone from vodafone via india and they cant tell me anything. cant give an idea on how long it will take. it is ridiculous!!

I have had little or no signal all day - I live in the Glory Farm area of Bicester and when I called Vodafone they advised me that there was an issue with the local site that I would be using and that it should be fixed by tomorrow morning as the engineers were there fixing it.  Strangely enough, when I went to work on the London Road end of Bicester the signal was at full strength with seemingly no issues.  I hope that they are right and it'll be back on tomorrow as I am getting very, very annoyed at the issue.

Mine appears to be back although it was touch and go first thing.  Fingers crossed but not holding my breath.  I think I regret switching to Vodafone already and I've got 2 years to run on my contract

Me too!! Phones 4 U in Oxford talked me into switching 2.5months ago and when I went back to complain about signal they didnt want to know. Have had a sure signal box and its no help at all. According to a friends facebook status this sort of thing happens alot in Bicester!! Great

Mine is now up and down- one bar for a few mins then nothing for 10-15mins

No update in 22 hours this is a terrible service, how long can it take to repair a mast it I treated my customers like this I would have none left

Just spoke to vodafone all they could tell me is their is a fault and it could take upto 5 days  how crap is that !

5 DAYS!!! That is ridiculous!! I was told by vodafone if I call when its back up and running they will place a credit on my account for the days the network was down.

I was offered the same thing yesterday as well as £25 towards a replacement payg mobile for the duration.  I told them that that made it look like a longterm thing and was not acceptable but she spoke to someone else and assured me the issue would be fixed by this morning.  She even offered me the address of the mast so I could go see for myself that they were working on it lol.

I didn't - she started saying just as my baby son decided to start screaming.  From where I live I'm guessing it may be the mast that is next to the old Amandas building up Murdoch Road - I was half tempted to drive round there to look on the way to work yesterday evenint.

oh by the way i have been with vodafone for 13 years and this is the first time ever lost signal so i dont see how its regular in bicester

That's of some reassurance at least.  They've not updated their fault to say it's been rectified like they said it would be by now.  My signal is all over the place today but at least, touch wood, I've had a signal.
