Can't register for My Account - "Unfortuna tely, your request cannot be processed"

Hi,
I am trying to register for My Account so I can get the free wifi that comes with the tariff my are work are paying for. I've been trying all week. I get the security code texted to me OK but after entering my details I get the error above. I don't seem to be alone in this as Google throws up loads of results with people having this issue.
