Re: sim activation

Hi vbrownsell,

It can take up to 24 hours for sim activation.. If it is still not done after that time then you will need to contact Customer Care so that they can get the matter resolved for you..

Re: sim activation

its still not activated and when people ring the number its saying the number doesnt exist?

i was wondering also, does the sim have to be in an unlocked phone or can it be in any vodafone mobile even if it was an old contract phone?

Re: sim activation

Hello. I'm unable to get to a vodaphone store and I cannot log in online as it sends my phone a security code before I can create an account. I cannot get to my texts until the sim is activated (catch 22). What can I do?

Re: sim activation

Hi

You have already posted this and it can be found here

As this is a duplicate post and so we don’t split help between the two topics I am now going to close this thread.

As soon as an advisor is available they will be along to help :smileyhappy:

Thanks

Re: sim activation

Hi JillianLamont,

My apologies for the delay in responding to you.

There are a few ways of activating your new SIM with your existing number including through your online account, in a Vodafone store or through ourselves.

If you still haven’t activated your new SIM please take a look at the PM that I have sent you which includes details on how to get in touch with our team directly to get this activated.

Please remember to include the SIM number in any emails to us because without this we won’t be able to activate the new SIM for you.

You can find your PM inbox here.

James
