Hi,

Can anyone help me? I was thinking of buying the Nokia Lumia 710 for my teenage son but after reading this forum I'm a bit worried about buying the phone as I would also need an unlock code (there's no vodafone signal where I live). 

I have just rung customer services who say they've never heard of this issue and would issue the code given by Nokia which has the 'p' '+' and 'w' 

Can anyone reassure me that this problem is now resolved, and that I wont have the same problems as everybody else has been experiencing.

All of the new unlock codes have now been loaded into the system to be generated through our regular channels.

To request an unlock code for your Nokia Lumia 710 you will need to complete our online request form.

If you need to get hold of a micro SIM, you can order one of these from our online store on PAYG free of charge.

Hi, I want to unlock my Nokia Lumia 710 - I'm currently on pay and go with Vodafone. I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to this, but can I use this form http://campaigns.vodafone.co.uk/UnlockCodeRequestForm/ <<< to get my unlock code? It says " We can only supply unlock codes for existing Vodafone pay monthly customers and the phone/IMEI associated with your account" ... and as Im pay and go, I'm not sure if I can use this form or not?

Also, if I unlock my handset... can I still continue to use my Vodafone sim for calls and web access after the phone has been unlocked?

Appreciate any help.

Thanks for your post. Of course you can use that link. Please be aware that unlocking PAYG handsets will cost £20 and you will need to top up by this amount in order for the unlock request to go through properly.

As the Zune offer is nothing to do with Vodafone but a promotion between Nokia and Microsoft the unlocking of your device won’t affect this offer in any way.

Hi. I've been supplied with the wrong unlock code by Vodafone (Reference Number: 428396). Is it possible to get an 8 digit code instead?
