Lumia 530-PAYG Cannot Send SMS While Abroad

Good morning

I bought a Vodafone PAYG SIM in London on the 17th October on my first trip to the UK and second outside Africa. I am now roaming in Lagos, Nigeria

In the hope that I can retain the Vodafone number, I have been able to register my number online, join the forum, check/toggle my roaming service settings, have online top-ups done for me, make and receive very brief calls and receive SMS messages

However, I am not able to send SMS messages

All the 'Travelling Abroad' bars on my profile appear set to Off. The only bars activated appear to be the ones for 'Age-Restricted Content',  'Notification Option Data Capping' and 'Data Capping Option'

Please help me check if I have omitted something or inadvertently prevented sending SMS messages

I am using a Lumia 530 Dual SIM Windows 8.1 and the setup was done OTA
