Hi all

Just got the N8 and need some advice

When recieving a call and i take the phone out of my pocket i often touch the reject call button.

This happens even when i set the slider on the side to lock the screen.

Is there any way to avoid this.

My old nokia 5800 had a swipe to answer facility which was perfect.

the reason what they have changed/removed the swipre to answer thing is that the new capacitive touch screen requires an actual finger press, rather than being pressed by something else in you pocket or whatever.

there are a good number of swipe to answer apps in the app store. but i can safely say that i have never done this. i keep it in my front trouser pocket with the screen towards me. so when i take it out i grab the back.

Hi glitp,

I can understand your frustration with this issue.

I can't see any way to change this on the handset. I think the best idea would be to take a look in the Ovi Store, as flagpole has suggested. An application would give you much more options with this.
