N97 - 3.5G, constantly establishing connection

Have an N97. The little symbol below the 3.5G symbol is always the broken double arrow, which suggests that the phone is trying to establish a connection but failing! Im sure it used to get one and so i'd see the normal arrows for 3.5G.

Is my situation normal? If not what can I do to sort it out?

I have over a year left with this phone :(

Hi cpikey316_

Welcome to the eForum! Hope you stick around :).

I used to have the N97 myself. This when the phone is trying to make a network connection, it will show are broken when you're on a call or doing something that will stop the phone connecting.

Firstly can you connect to the internet ok or were you just wondering what the symbol meant?

If you are having any problems with the phone, can you be more specific and we'll be happy to help :).
