Hi everybody,

I've had a Nokia 1800 on a pay as you go plan for about a year. I've tried to call the customer service to have it unlocked, but I could not even reach anybody.

Would it be possible to receive this Unlock Code by mail ? 

If you need any more information on my phone (IMEI number ect...) I can send it by PM or Mail.

you can only use the online form if you are a contract customer, as payg customer has to do it by calling customer services i'm afraid.

not sure if the mods can help though, but from my experiences im sure they can.

You don’t need to worry as we can get the request raised for you as long as you still have an active Vodafone UK mobile number.

To allow us to do this for you simply reply to the email that I have sent with all of the requested information and one of the team will be able to pick this up as soon as possible.

I've the same problem : I bought a Nokia 1800 PAYG a year ago during a stay in Edinburgh. I want now to use it in France on SFR network, but it is locked.

I would greatly appreciate any help to unlock it.

Hi, I have the same problem: I've had a Nokia 1800 on a pay as you go plan for half a year. Now I have a new vodafone contract and would like to use the Nokia 1800 with a different SIM card. Is it possible to unlock it?
I can send any data necessary (IMEI, etc) via mail.

In order to unlock your device you need a Network Unlock Code (NUC) and you can now request this yourself through our fabulous Help Centre.

As a PAYG customer who has had the phone for over a year, you will be able to unlock it free of charge.  Just call 191 and they will be able to to the rest for you!
