I have just upgraded to a nokia 5800, and i am having trouble accessing a keypad facility when trying to put a password in to gain access to the aplication. It just gives me a navigation pad plus a couple of buttons but no keypad....Any ideas????????

I haven't tried it myself. Let us know if it works.

Hi Joseph16 and welcome to the eForum

What particular Application are you trying to use? Have you been able to try Colin Taylor's suggestion at all?

Let me know how you get on and if you have any more questions please let us know and we'll be happy to help

Thanks

Wayne

Not all applications are written to be touch screen aware, and rely on the phone having a physical keypad. Therefore if you try to enter text in a field, it is waiting for physical input. The software will need to pop up the virtual keyboard, but if it does not, it is badly written software (or written pre touchscreen phoen days)

I have the same issue with mobile banking software and with my work one-time password generator software. It is just something I have to live with.

Hi joseph16,

Could you clarify whether you're having problems running the Bet365 application - and if so do you get any error messages - or actually logging into your account with them?

If it's the former then it's most likely due the the App needing a physical keypad for inputting the required details and in which case I'm afraid there's nothing we can do to resolve this.

Thanks,

Lee
